I waited to adopt a dog until I was able to pay for lessons. I adopted Maddy, my first dog, from Helen Woodward. She had come from Arizona by van and due to that traumatic ride, she now had several behavior problems, the most major being her fear of absolutely everything. I tried to train her myself using treats, but having no experience training a dog, I had a hard time. Given her skittish nature, she is constantly worrying about all that is happening around her, so naturally she is not focused on me and what I'm trying to teach her. Jt and her training methods are a godsend for me and Maddy! She learns quickly and is more attentive. She is starting to gain confidence, which she was severely lacking. Within a couple of weeks of training, she ceased her submissive urinating which of course I was ecstatic about! The K9 Coach training is simply priceless to those with dogs that have behavior problems
